With more than four decades of combined legal experience, lawyers Jarred Franklin and John W. Evans Jr. understand the importance of attorney collaboration. In fact, they often work closely together when serving clients, benefiting from each other’s respective strengths and their complementary skill sets.
Licensed to practice law in 1987, attorney John W. Evans Jr. is certainly no stranger to the Bossier City legal community. Not only has he been practicing law in northwest Louisiana for almost 30 years, he was also born and raised in Bossier City ― not to mention a descendent from the family of the city’s patriarch, Pierre Evariste Jean-Baptiste Bossier. Mr. Evans’ primary practice areas include personal injury, family law, consumer bankruptcy, criminal defense as well as wills and successions.
Attorney Jarred Franklin, who is also a native of the Shreveport area, graduated from Mississippi College School of Law in 1998, after which he clerked for the Honorable Henry N. Brown Jr. at the Louisiana Second Circuit Court of Appeal. Since 2000, he has been in private practice, concentrating in the areas of criminal defense, medical malpractice, nursing home negligence, family law, appellate law and various other litigation matters. Mr. Franklin also served on the Louisiana Appellate Project for several years, handling in excess of 125 felony appeals in the Second and Third Circuit Courts of Appeal and the Louisiana Supreme Court.
